Robb and I had an odd experience today while out checking on our
letterboxes. Each of the letterboxes we found was just slightly in
the wrong spot (no big deal, really), but each one also had the
ziplock bags completely open. Weird. One wonders...
And sadly, Robb's Lake Merritt Letterbox has gone missing.
But Robb and I had a nice slow stroll down by Lake Merritt, so that
was good, anyway.
And I got a peep at Princess Lea's day-planner, and threw a letterbox
at her as she was driving Sleepy Cat to a party. I just hope I didn't
hit her too hard!

Np concussions sustained! That is awfully thoughtful of Lisa to plant boxes where I'm
gonna be anyway, with 4 hours to kill. And it took almost all those 4 hours to find it (well,
not quite, but it was much longer than the drive by I was planning!) That new Moraga clue
is a little tougher than you would think. You might want to light a votive candle to St.
Mary before setting out.

No kidding!! Old Blue and I spent well over an hour on this one (a
couple of hours after Princess Lea evidently) and turned up empty-
handed! Hasn't happened in a LONG time and we were bummed! Good news is
this is my old stomping grounds and I went a few miles down the road to
Rheem Valley where my dad had a store when I was a kid. In the whole,
huge shopping center, only 3 of the stores remained as they were in
1965: the Rheem Theater, the barber shop and Loard's Ice Cream
parlor!!! I paid 17 cents for a single cone back then. Of course, I had
to have one today--ice cream for dinner!!--and even at $2.50 it still
made our 'boxing failure a little sweeter.
Hopefully we'll get back there soon to find this one.

Oh whoops! I guess everyone read "ParCouse" at a metaphor, when it is
the actual name of a feature of the park.
Robb and I went out to Moraga on Sunday, too, and must have been
sitting at a cafe a that same shopping center while DS & OB where
eating ice cream.
Did anyone else drive Pinehurst?
